**We can process payments if you have SNAP food benefits. If you only receive cash benefits (allowing you to buy non-food items), then we cannot process your payment.**
Upon signing up to pay for a CSA share with SNAP benefits, your SNAP account will be charged a $50 signup payment. Your remaining balance will then be evenly divided into six installments and charged to your SNAP account at the beginning of each month of the CSA, starting in June and ending in November.
Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) is a SNAP match program from the Pacific Northwest CSA Coalition. For every dollar that a CSA member pays with SNAP/EBT, the CSA Coalition provides Vicolo Farm with a matching dollar amount in DUFB funds to cover the remainder of the cost of the share. Example: For a $956 share, the CSA member must pay $478 in SNAP payments to receive a maximum of $478 in DUFB funds.
Double Up Food Bucks are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so signing up for a share with SNAP earlier in the season will increase your odds of receiving DUFB funds.
